News 07/08/02- Guess who's back, back again? I am back, tell some friends. Yes well, thought I'd take some time to update the news section of this site. Let me think....Well, I heard that Ben's daughter is named Ella Olivia, which I'm sure suits her much better than "President Stiller", as wonderful a name as that was. I heard that Ben will co-star with Jack Black in a movie called "Envy". Supposedly a romantic comedy. The Royal Tenenbaums come out tomorrow on dvd and vhs, I'm looking forward to seeing it again. The Duplex should come out in early 2003, and Meet the Fockers MAY start filming soon. Just taking a little trip off subject, I saw Minority Report the other day, I LOVED that movie, a great thriller. I also saw Vanilla sky, ummm... That was a bit..odd, to say the least. But anyway, I hope Ben will make another drama soon, he's always so good in those. Also patiently waiting (yeah, right) for What Makes Sammy Run, like I said before, would love to see Ben as the title character because he's a really different character for Ben to play. But if he can't play Sammy, Al would always be cool. That's all I can think of for now, I'll try to update if anything new comes up. O, and BTW, the new revamped www.upcomingmovies.com really sucks! It moved to Yahoo! and it's not as good as far as information goes as it once was. O well, check it out anyway for some info on Ben's upcoming movies.
04/18/02- Hey, I just want to apologize to everyone for not keeping up with the site, but I go to school, and it's just really hard to keep it up. The server seems to be working pretty well now, so I guess I'll give you some updates:
1) For those of you who watched the Oscars, I'm sure you enjoyed the skit done by Ben and Owen, and those of you who missed them, well you missed a pretty funny thing!
2) Filming for You'll Never Wiez in this Town Again has wrapped up, it's a Pauly Shore movie and I believe Ben does a cameo.
3) The Independent should hit the smaller theaters soon, starring Jerry Stiller and Ben does another cameo.
4) Filming for The Duplex wrapped up in New York, I think they have about 12 more weeks of filming in LA. The movie should come out in February 2003.
5) Well, Ben is a father now, his and Christine's daughter was born somewhere around the 16th or 17th of April, no word yet of the name.
6) What Makes Sammy Run?- This is a really interesting book about screenwriters in the 1940's, though it has many other sub-plots. I reccomend it to anyone that is looking for a good book to read, and since Ben is writing, directing and maybe even acting in the movie, it would be cool to see how they turn the book into a movie. There's a news article on Imdb.com that says Ben was thinking of playing the title character Sammy Glick. That would be really interesting, because Sammy is really unlike any other characters Ben has played. I think he would make a great Al Manheim (narrarator), but I would really like to see how he plays a character like Sammy.

9) Book- I finally recieved that book on Ben a couple days ago, it's a really good biography and I reccomend it to anyone who might be interested.

2/03/02- Jay Leno
On Jay Leno (1/31/02) Ben comfirmed that his child with Christine is a girl, and is due April 18. Congratulations Ben and Christine!!!
1/28/02- Books????
Well, I was cruisin Amazon.com, looking for There's Something About Mary, when I came across a book, titled Ben Stiller. The author has other books on famous people, so I guess it is a biography. I found a total of three books like this, all of them by different publishing companies. If you have any info, please let me know, or I will update when I find out more!!!
1/16/02- Magazines
Ben was in last month's issue of Cosmopolitan, a four page interview with him on Christine and The Royal Tenenbaums. The Dec/Jan issue of Details also features Ben on the cover, it talks about how he is the new king of "dark" comedy, and his intentions to make the movie "What Makes Sammy Run?" with his friend Jerry Stahl. The picture to the right is from the magazine, check for more pics in the gallery. Well, i have a favor to ask: I go to school 5 days a week, so if anybody knows of a tv appearance or magazine article, please PLEASE let me know, I will be sure to note your helpfulness when i post your information.

1/18/02- In the new Starsky and Hutch movie that Ben is set to act and direct, rumour has it that Owen Wilson will play his partner, and Snoop Dogg as Huggie Bear.
